Fully Automatic Cold Press Production Line

8 Units of 60-Ton Cold Presses

This is a fully automated production line consisting of eight 60-ton cold presses, lifting-chain conveyor systems, and roller conveyors.

Each cold press can handle approximately 60 panels per pressing cycle, with each cycle taking about 4 hours. Operating on an 8-hour shift, the line with 8 cold presses can produce up to 960( 60 x 2 x 8 = 960 ) panels per day.

Conveyor Integration Options:

Two options are available for integrating cold presses with conveyor chain systems:

  • Integrated Conveyor Option ( the one in the video ):

    The lifting chain conveyors are fully integrated into the presses and extend outward, fitting into grooves on the roller conveyors. This option requires careful leveling across the entire production line to ensure smooth operation.

  • Split Conveyor Option ( recommended for export ):

    The conveyors are divided into two separate sections, independently integrated into the cold presses and roller conveyors. This arrangement offers more flexibility in installation and requires less stringent horizontal alignment, allowing for easier adjustments.

This production line offers exceptional flexibility for expansion.

  1. Additional equipment such as automatic loaders, dust collectors, and glue spreaders can be added for veneering, then panel stacking and load into the production line.
  2. Production capacity can easily be scaled by increasing the number of cold presses.
  3. The control system uses Mitsubishi PLC as standard but can be configured with other brands according to customer requirements. Integration with existing customer systems is acceptable. Sometimes, two separate control stations will be apply  ( located at both ends of the line avoid the people take too much time to walk from this end to the other ) for efficiency.
